Artwork Guidelines
Preparing Your Artwork for Print
To ensure the best possible print quality and avoid delays, please follow the guidelines below before uploading your artwork.
If you’re unsure, don’t worry—our team is happy to help.
Preferred File Formats
We recommend uploading one of the following:
✅ PDF (Preferred)
✅ Adobe Illustrator (.AI)
✅ Adobe Photoshop (.PSD)
✅ EPS
✅ SVG
We also accept:
- JPG
- PNG
- TIFF
Please avoid sending screenshots or images copied from social media where possible, as these are often too low in quality for printing.
Resolution
For the best print quality:
300 DPI (dots per inch)
Images below 300 DPI may appear blurred or pixelated when printed.
Colour Mode
Please supply artwork in:
CMYK Colour Mode
Files supplied in RGB will be converted for print, which may result in slight colour variations.
Bleed
Include:
3mm Bleed
on all sides of your artwork.
Bleed prevents unwanted white edges appearing after trimming.
Safe Zone
Keep all important content at least:
5mm inside the trim edge
This includes:
- Text
- Logos
- Contact details
- QR codes
Fonts
Please:
- Embed fonts within PDFs, or
- Convert fonts to outlines before saving.
This prevents font substitution issues.
Image Quality
Use high-resolution images only.
Avoid:
❌ Screenshots
❌ Images downloaded from social media
❌ Images copied from websites
❌ Low-resolution logos
Black Text
For small text, use:
100% Black (K only)
Avoid using rich black for small text, as this may reduce sharpness.
Rich Black
For large black backgrounds, we recommend:
C 40
M 30
Y 30
K 100
This provides a deeper, richer black.
Transparency & Effects
Before exporting your artwork:
- Flatten transparency where appropriate.
- Embed linked images.
- Check overprint settings.
- Ensure all effects export correctly.
Proofreading
Please carefully check your artwork before submitting.
Pay particular attention to:
- Spelling
- Grammar
- Telephone numbers
- Email addresses
- Website addresses

- Product information
